Can someone instruct me on how to replace the battery on my Yamaha Warrior 350? I know, I am a blonde but I really do need the help.

ok, chuckie.....my wife is blonde also and she figured this one out..LOL First take off your seat. The battery is held down by a rubber strap. Take off the strap and the two bolts holding the wires to the battery. The battery will pull right out. See!!! Its that easy. OK. Now this will sound really dumb. I put the new one on; the same way I took the old one off?
Thanks.

chuckie listen very carefuly....make absolutley sure you put the rubber band that holds the battery down back on. i did not ...was in a hurry to ride and must have forgot. anyways, the metal posts on the cable ends broke from the battery jumping around during my ride. this all happened in one day,so it happened quick. first one post broke then the next. all because i didn't put that stupid rubber band back.

Make sure that you hook up the leads to the right posts! When hooking up the terminals, be carefull not to ground yourself. That is, the tool or your body should not touch anything while tightening up the positive+ (or RED) terminal. This will ground it and shock you and make some sparks!

Also, make sure your vent tube is pulled back down where it is supposed to be, and not kinked. When they set mine up where I bought it, some moron kinked the hose and the sides of my battery were bulging. Ruined the battery. They replaced it after I told them what they had done.
