Default banshee throttle sticking

i've been out today ridding, as normal the weather in the uk is wet, very wet
anyway the track i was riding at had loads of puddles muddy puddles at that, and i'm missing the rubber drain plug at the bottom of the airbox and run a kn filter, would this be enough to suck up some of this dirty water and make both throttle slides stick at full throttle

Chances are you have got mud or water in the throttle cable. Are you still running the TORS?

You probably have a cable problem. Take the tops off and see if it is still sticking.

Default banshee throttle sticking

I have a 96 banshee and when the weather gets wet I can be sure of one thing, my throttle will stick. I've changed cables, lubed cables, thought I'd tried everything. Nothing so far has worked, if you figure it out let me know. I now have a trinity single carb kit coming because I don't know what else to do.---joe
