I wreck my rator the other day and done about a $1000.oo dollars of damage. I am not sure if I should turn it under insurance because i don't want to be droped or have my rates increased. Any one else have any expereice with with?

 

What did you damage, are you sure there isn't any other hidden damaage, what's your deductible?

 

I turned mine in with no problems. I think if you keep tearing it up and turning it in you may be dropped but all in all, it depends on your agent, if he likes you or not.

 

Where does everyone get their insurance and how much do you pay per year? I checked with alot of companies through the AMA, and most of them wanted $600-1000 per year. I fugure I could wreck it pretty good each year for that price, so I never got any insurance. Thanks for the info!

I pay 159.00 per year at state farm for my Raptor FULL coverage, for the Z400 its 147.00 Per year and they are a great company if you ever need them.

 

i believe that the larger your displacement the higher the insurance. I have a 02 rubicon and pay 220 a year full coverage and my brother has a praire 650 and he pays like 400 i think. over 500cc puts things into a differ class. also where you keep it also counts like in a shed or locked garage. i live in new york and you have to have registration and insurance , also need it for poker runs.

 

Yes thats one good thing about Calif is that the ins. is not that high if you have a great driving record. All the other Bull$h!t regulations including the sierra club $uck$!!
