2-stroke ban in 2006
#11
Honda has already jumped on this whole 2 stroke ATV ban thing since the end of the 250r. They have made nearly everything of theirs 4 stroke. Weedwackers, boat motors, some new motocross bikes, and mopeds.. Its getting to a point where 4 strokes are going to rule, and 2 strokes will be "old technology"..

well for 2 stroke owners this will just make your bikes worth more because you can still ride any 2 stroke made before 2006, and you are ALWAYS going to have the guys who only want to ride 2 strokes therefore they will pay more for them! But I still think it sucks that they are thinking about banning them!

What bothers me is the fact the tech. already exists!!!!!Bombardier's snowmobiles are using a system called "semi-direct injection"that makes less emissions than most 4-strokes...... plus an increance in HP. Would somebody call Bombardier please???
