please help, I have a HUGE problem
#1
I replaced my dynojets with mikunis yesterday, which made an enormous difference. My mid range was hesitating so i dropped the clip on the needles to the 5th slot. As i was riding, it started missing terribly in the midrange. I rode it home and took out the needle in the left carb. The holder that holds the needle down had popped out while riding. Well I am missing the tiny washer that goes on top of the needle clip. I have looked EVERYWHERE and the only place it could have gone is through the intake boots that connects to the head of the motor. I have looked in the carb, the whole airbox, everywhere. What should i do?

My buddies did the same exact thing, it ate the washer. It was never found but runs fine after we replaced it.
I wouldnt tear it down, you will probably not find it anyway. Its small and soft enough it should not be able to do major damage and probably floated on out the exhaust.

HAHAHA I used to eat parts bigger than that when I was a little kid and it never hurt me. If you don't se it in the intake track I'm sure it bounced around and either became part of the top of the piston or worked its way out the exhaust valve and zoom right out the pipe.

Don't worry about it the washers are very soft metal. If it did eat it that is.......

Where can you get the Mikuni needle, jets and how would I go about making sure I get the correct sizes? My specs were set up to the yoshi specs they gave with exhaust, not sure of the size could look it up. Why are the Mikuni's better?
