just wondering, can u up the preload a notch or so and take it off small or trail size jumps without bottoming the suspension like the mags say and still be comfortable. I am not saying that means it happens, i just remember reading the shootout between the 650's and the 700. Also how does everything else compare to others? and can u use raptor performance parts on it and or do u use special parts just for it? just want the knowledge at the moment

blazer316,i go with 2 notch in frt,3 in rear or it will be to stiff for all-round riding, jumps the stiffer the better if that's all your doing,i keep the frt soft as possible or the frt will push, the rear stiff as you can stand,it will make it slide easier.i have ridden everything except a rincon and for the rest it's sportier handling that anything else (and faster) that's irs and the motor, the raptor part's will work i want to get a curtis sparks/fst/or craycraft stroker and head work soon it depends on the waiting game(getting them to do it) for which 1 i'll choose.the clutch,go with an epi spring made for your elevation and the STOCK weight's the clutch kit's "as is" robs the top end too bad 5-8mph for me and the springs alone are just $25 not $200.00

I keep mine at the next to the stiffest setting on both front and rear. I have the winch on the front and that adds some weight, plus I have the anti-sway bar off the rear. Still rides great with either the big 27's on or the worthless little lightweight dunflops.
Only time I ever bottomed out the suspension was jumping it. Never came close to bottoming out just riding, or riding fast for that matter. You have to try to bottom it out basically.
