Are CPI Inframes any good at all for MX. Kind of curious. Is Sandtoyz the cheapest place to purchase? $520 plus $20 shipping.

$540 doesn't sound bad.

The CPI's make awesome power. They seem to be durable. A friend dynoed the toomey T-5's against the CPI's and said that they both started making power at the same RPM, but the CPI's simply made more power and kept pulling after the T-5's dropped off.

I would say that there are better pipes for MX though. The FMF SST has made a lot of happy customers and the new toomey TR-6 is supposed to be great.

I would avoid sandtoyz, they have good prices, but service sucks. I ordered some from them quite awhile ago, and after three weeks of hearing they will be here soon, I cancelled and ordered somewhere else.

If you go over to bansheehq.com you can read alot of old posts about how bad they were. I would not trust them.

Check ebay, I see new ones go for about the same price, and sometimes some used ones. Check planetsand also, alot of those guys go to out of frame pipes.
