JUST BOUGHT A 97 WARRIOR AND WANTED SOME FEEDBACK ON THE MAIER SKID PLATE. IT IS MADE OUT OF PLASTIC FOR ABOUT $45.00 ARE THEY ANY GOOD OR SHOULD I SPEND THE EXTRA $ AND GET A DG?

I have a 98 Warrior and purchased PRM skids. These are aluminum and extremely tough. I've pounded many a rock without any damage to them at all. I think their web address is www.prm-atv.com
Great skid plates, wish I'd never bought the AC for the swingarm. Personally I wouldnt trust my engine case to plastic if I was bouncing over alot of rocks but I imagine woods riding would be fine.

i have a 99 warrior and run dg plates they take a hell of a beating
