Default Got my piston out! You learn by your mistakes.

I have never seen one line up exactly, I have been into 3 raptor motors about 10 times but they never line up all indicating a little stretch in the chain (left dot is up slightly)

007 does have a great site, without it I don't know if I would be so confident doing my own tranny. So thank you!

I'm glad someone chimmed in as I was reading. I was going to tell you the marks were right and you had it at tdc. But I don't have to now. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Oh, wait, I guess I just did. LOL

My marks would line up until you put the chain tensioner back in, then they would be slightly off.

Well, I have been doing some cleaning and I am hoping that my piston will come in tomorrow.

How should I go about preparing the sleeve?
