The oil light on my son's 99 Blaster has begun turning on and off.

I know it is not the fluid level sloshng around since it is full.

Is there a way to clean or replace it? I tried to pull it out of the oil tank, but I couldn't get it out without removing the plastic.

Any advice?

Also, if I understand this correctly, that light is only a signal to let you know your oil tank is low...not to let you know your oil injection system has failed???

 

mine goes on when i'm at idle. as soon as i rev her up the light goes out. been doing it since 91' when she was only a baby![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

just disconnect it....
