I constantly tell people to get a bigger sproket on their wolverines lol.
As for make a 2 stroke faster, port it (kinda mild unless you like rebuilds) and up the compression. Wabaam your fast. Might take a bigger carb to feed it when your done though.

Forgot to say get a high flow intake, IE, no airbox if possible. Filters right on the carb arent good unless you have a spacer somewhere in there. Something about them not having far enough to dissipate the wave of energy coming back through the carb and making the engine have a rich spot or something (somone talked me out of buying some with that argument).

get rid of those crappy stock tires! esp the rears. go with 20" holeshots or razzrs and up yer front sprocket by one tooth. completely different quad! now you have a slide monster! its a ball! start saving pennies for better shocks [i am].

What's think about FMF Fatty pipe and power core II for a Yamaha Blaster. What's you think is a best pipe?

The most popular pipes i have seen on a blaster are probably, fmf, or pro curcuit pipes... fmf fattys are pretty good on a blaster... with the power core silencer... i would go with fmf, i dont quite like the sound of pro curcuit.. plus fmf will give you good overall power, anyways fmf did on my blaster..
