Yo even though u have a K&N filter wit an outer wear your shouldent run the air box with out a cover unless u ride dunes. Your blaster should win if u can shift if u cant u will get stomped.

 

hey pc_350_warrior forgive them for they know not what they talk about. A cr80 will smoke a blaster and the top speed is 72 mph for a cr 80 stock I had a 1976 xr75 that toped out at 76mph
and i own a blaster. HEY I know why dont you wait and tell us after you race who won and be honest! put your pride away and be honest i know you can do it.

I am certain that a CR would waste your blaster in a race. That CR is about 150 pounds lighter, and it only has one tiny, light rear wheel to spin, compared to the blaster's two thick heavy tires. Also, I had a '95 CR that made 25hp (tested on a dyno) The blaster is a great bike, but unfortunately it wont beat the CR.

 

Snowshark... No Offence but you ride on HONDAS i don't really think much of Honda I have a Blaster 99 with a few mods FMF "FATTY" PIPE ande FMF POWER CORE II MUFFLER and I will be getting a 240cc BIG BORE KIT or 265cc.. haven't picked one

Hey, I have nothin against Yamahas "yamaharules" Infact, i love yamys, thats all i've ever owned!! I'm just stating the facts that were in the DirtWheels magazine AND the 4 wheel ATV mag. They spend their entire day lookin at quads. They also have radar guns, and when they test a quad for speed they use them!! I'm pretty sure they know what they are talkin about too! In BOTH of those magazines they state that the Blaster will go 52-55 mph. Thats not bad for a 300 and some ound quad with a 200cc engine. So dont get me wrong, I love yamaha, but i also trust quad magazines with radar guns!!
