Default banshee problem

After riding for a little bit yesterday my banshee started acting up or should I say "down" and now it doesn’t even want to start. Out of no where after running perfect I let it idle and went to give it some gas when it just makes a bogging noise like its starving for something. It just revs slowly and it seems as if it’s running on just one cylinder. It seems to idle fine and the same amount of smoke comes out of each cylinder. Then when I try to rev it up it struggles and smoke comes out of one cylinder a lot and barely out of the other; again making the bogging noise from the carbs as the revs rise. I’m so confused. I have checked the intake for obstructions, I see that the carbs are synchronized fine. Obviously everything else is working fine but one carb/cylinder...
How could it go from running perfect to barely running at all.? When I force the revs up and try to slap it into 1st gear it just dies out...anyone have any ideas?
I doubt I broke anything because it did this once before and someone was able to get it back to normal for me by tinkering with it…

check your plugs, sounds like maybe you have fouled one.

Otherwise I dont know. If you have fouled one plug, that carb has something wrong with it, if the jetting is right on both and they are in sync, then maybe the float level is off on that carb or something.

same thing happened to me once............fouled plug. Put two new plugs in it and you'll be good to go!

replace the plugs. As the others said, thats what it is. Make sure to not get b8es. They arent the best for non-fouling. Make sure to get either EV or EG. EIX is the best, but sets u back a little at 9 a plug

I'll buy it from you for $1500 or I'll just tell you to adjust your clutch/parking brake lever as well as tighten the parking brake adjuster on the rear brake. This should solve your problem or like I said... sell it to me for $1500 and we'll both be happy

I live close to Poway... do you live around these parts? Check your reeds on the side that won't rev up.

Liquid I live in "Swinger Springs" other wise known as Sabre Springs to the non westerfield/vandam news watchers. I normally ride Gordon's well or Buttercup but take a trip up to Glamis every once in a while. I also make a trip or two to Ocotillo wells. If you want me to check your quad let me know... send me an email if you need someone to ride with out in the dunes as well. I probably won't go until my finger nail reattaches itself since I tried to rip it off this morning. Oh man does that hurt!
