HELP WITH FRONT SPROCKET

Default HELP WITH FRONT SPROCKET

on a 03 blaster what is the best way to change out the front sprocket? Do I have to take the whole case cover off, or can i just slip a socket through the hole on the side cover and reach under and pull it off.

Default HELP WITH FRONT SPROCKET

You'll have to take the cover off that protects the sprocket. Then, if I remember correctly, you'll have to bend back two tabs of metal and then you can take a socket and take the sprocket off. Make sure you have the chain still attached, because the sprocket will want to turn.

looks like one solid piece chain guard made into case

Yeah, it is. You'll have to take the case off.
