Default HELP WITH FRONT SPROCKET

on a 03 blaster what is the best way to change out the front sprocket? Do I have to take the whole case cover off, or can i just slip a socket through the hole on the side cover and reach under and pull it off.

You'll have to take the cover off that protects the sprocket. Then, if I remember correctly, you'll have to bend back two tabs of metal and then you can take a socket and take the sprocket off. Make sure you have the chain still attached, because the sprocket will want to turn.
