An elevation increase makes you run richer, therefore run a smaller jet size the higher you are. I always ran premium gas (not race gas, just 91, 92, 93) in my snowmobiles and never burned one down because the carbs needed cleaning. It was always the guys running the cheapest gas who would have green needles after they sat awhile and took them out and wicked them. Instant meltdown.

Running to rich or to lean will cause you to have less power. Stock they are a little lean to help with emissions.
YOUR RAPTOR IS FINE!!!!

quote from "shutupholdon) In first that thing should wheelie over just by mashing the gas, Mine would stand straight up with me sitting on the gas cap even when it was stock no mods in first gear...in the grass. When you gas it in second you should have to do it with caution so the front dosent wheelie up, if your bike isnt performing like that...bring it in have them check it out.

He thinks it isnt? Im torn?

That quote was from feedmespeed. I have to pull up on the bars to wheelie in 2nd, and cant even get it to wheelie in 3rd. I thought this was normal.
