Default Warrior carb leakage

sounds like you got this worked out, sorry about not being around to help but work is a pain. I'm also sorry about confusing you with the throttle cable, the warrior I had was a 92 and obviouslly the throttle cable setup is different than your 97, just get ready for something else to break, also, if you would rather spend $3.00 instead of $200, I would take the starter out and replace the seal, depending on how much your warrior was used this may go in a couple of days...or years. It's very common from guys with 95 and 94 warrior's that I hear about, you can probably forget about it for a year or two but its better to be safe than sorry,

Default Warrior carb leakage

Hey,

go ride . . . interesting concept. i wonder what that feels like?? lol

i'm not out of the woods yet. the rear brake rotor that came with the quad is warped, so i've got to order a new one.

how do i check the valve clearance? i've already hit all the grease zerks. the oil change . . . another frustration. the oil drain bolt will not budge, and i've tried just about everything i can think of. so i've got a new drain bolt on order at the dealer, and when it comes in i'm gonna get the mechanic there to get the old one out.

what's this starter seal? what's involved and how hard is it?

what's odd is that the rear motor mount had the bolt thru it, but it didn't have a nut on it. i fixed with some new hardware, but it makes me wonder if the motor has been out before.

another obstacle before i can go ride is how to get to the field behind my house. the back of my yard is blocked off by a row of very large hedges and a 6' deep 12' wide ditch. now if my neighbors weren't stuck up and mean, i could just ride along the edge of their yard and have quick access to the fields, but i don't think they're gonna let me do that. my other option is to construct a bridge, which might be a little costly. but i'll figure something out. plus my main riding trips will be to other places with some friends.

later,
bigmac
