Default Wolverine winch mounting solution?

I have an 03 wolverine and got a Ramsey 2500lb winch with it. The mounting bracket and roller fairlead were included. The problem is that I don't like the winch mounting bracket which either came from Warn or Yamaha. I don't like how it sits out so far and low on the bike. I am afraid it will scrape on hills and drown in water crossings. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A GOOD MOUNTING BRACKET THAT SITS HIGH AND CLOSE TO THE FRAME??? Any help would be greatly apppreciated. If I can't find one I may have to do some cutting and welding to mount it behind the oil cooler and mount my roller fairlead down low. Opinions and pictures of setups would be helpful. Thanks.

Maybe you could see if any of the other companies like warn, rule, cmp and superwinch mounts in a better position. Then if the holes don't line up for your Ramsey, you could just drill different holes. Does your's mount in front of the bumper? I have a CMP mount and it mounts up behind the grill between the lights. It probably depends on the angle of your frame.

I was just looking at some Wolverine pictures and it looks like the oil cooler would be in the way.
