Default Just got back!

From South Jetty for the day! What a freakin great day for riding! Had a few probs before riding (annoying stupid problems that were my fault, but thats another story!) I got down there and a friend of mine let me use his 9 paddle ultralites! I was so excited and holy crap do they help! I did litterally pull another couple bike lengths on comp hill! Those tires are deffinatly my next investment, they are totally worth the money! If you have the horsepower to push em they are a must have! I can safely say I was the fastest 4-stroke there all day! There are some pretty crazy 2-strokes out there that I cant touch including 3 of my friends. My using the ultralites came to an end quickly though! I let a friend of mine ride my rappy and he hit something in the sand and blew out the left one so I was stranded at comp with one tire for about an hour until they got back with my old crappy 8 paddle haulers. So that put an end to my racing on comp for the day. It was still a blast though even with my old tires! Saw tons of people I knew and that made it better! Anyways I just wanted to update you guys on me tryin out some ultras with my craycraft! BIGBUBBA-well i saw you sitting at the bottom of comp hill at florence with the blown out tire i just didnt know it was you at the time ,what a way to put an end to your fun in a hurry.there were some fast four strokes at florence today the fastest one i saw running was a 400 ex that was built although i am not sure but it must have been a 416 or 440 and it was built to the extreme.i did not get a chance to see your quad run but if you were faster than that honda then you were doing very well.i ran against it twice and lost by about 1 quad length but then again the female riding it would not totally stop for a fair start for anyone so it was hard to tell how i could really do against it.you say the ultralites are a big help? i would consider them but i have heard they are very easily punctured as you seem to have found out the hard way,do you think that they made a huge difference as compared to regular haulers?i talked to sandman 430 (BILL) today and he said you out ran him at comp and as strong as his quad runs that is a sign that your craycraft is running strong.well sorry to hear about the bad luck with the tires maybe we will see you again some time under better circumstances.

Ya, I was beatin him when I had the ultras by about 2 bike lengths (or so) All I know is that when I was slowing down at the top I looked back and he was still climbing. After that when I got the crappy 8 paddle haulers put back on I raced him again and we tied a couple times and I beat him by almost a bike length when I shifted right. I almost swear by those ultras now that I see that they perform they are worth the investment for high HP bikes! I'm gonna be buying me some 10 paddle ultras here soon!
