The last bit of power of course. You are close with no stumbles or hesitations.....but that does'nt necessarily mean you are dialed in for peak power...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].

You are very close, at this point you make small changes and see how the engine responds. Example....160-165 runs good....why not try 162.5-165 or 162.5-167.5? Put a thin shim under your needle (1 or both carbs) so you can maybe adjust you needles on the 3.5th notch nown from the top. After you are close, the possibility for more power is usually there.....you just have too find it....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]. When you find it, will you realize you have it? Only if you know your machine!

I didn't know they made jets that were 62.5 and 67.5. When you say putting a shim under the needle do you mean like a washer or something by the clip?

Yes, the smaller increment jet sizes are available.....only when you go over 200 can you not get the small round jets in the 2.5 increments. Yes, a small washer can be used for fine tuning under the needle clip when necessary. Parts store or a Wal/mart - Hone Depot usually will yield small washers after some digging around. Theres power in tuning in a particular combination. Later guys.
