Default Disconnecting Wolverine driveshaft

Is it ok to ride with the front driveshaft disconnected? No fluids will leak out? I want to get the Warn 424 kit but I'd like to feel how it handles in 2wd before I drop the cash. Thanks for the help.

You can do it, but you will need to separate the ujoints, otherwise the yokes will flop around.
