rappy or v-force

RPM,
You make some good points on the shaft drive and the low center of gravity.
I have 0 experience on the 700. It just seems like the #s dont add up. So who am I to question.
I still think a 700 would have a hard time keepin up to my rap in the tight stuff. (.02 cents)
It just seems like too much mass to gracefully and effortlessly bounce off the high spots, and slip through the tight trees at warp speeds.
I may very well be proven wrong. A buddy just bought one, and we will be gettin away in July.
I really want to try the 700 though. It is definitely a change of pace in the 'sport' market, which is nice.
Is ther any reason why it isnt a 5 speed? Im not big on belt drive.

Oh yeah
You guys have defenitely gotten my attention (all the great reviews on the 700). Maybe I should take a step back....and do a little more reading.
You know what they say, "two ears, one mouth, use them accordingly"
sportyroxx, thanks for the info

Nice pic. I don't doubt that there are many Sport Quads out there that are capable of getting Big Air. The pictures of the KFX700 doing it's High Flying demonstration, speaks loudly, because of the critics claims that a Quad weighing 530lbs is incapable of jumping Big, let alone landing such jumps repeatedly. Sorry to say, but it does and it will.
Granted all of the rhetoric surrounding the fact that it was a Pro Rider, is meaningless as to the results, which are, that not only will it do it, but it does it quite well.
All of the Chest beating is MEANINGLESS until the Modded V-Forces start showing up. I am going to patiently wait and see what all of the talk is in about a year. Lets not forget, all of these Extremely Fast Raptors didn't show up overnight, it took a couple of years to get to the levels of performance that they have achieved, and it will be no different with the KFX700. To expect otherwise would be foolish.
Right now Modded Raptors and DS650's are the Baddest 4 strokes running. Will they always be?
Somebody call Miss Cleo, because I can't see that far into the future.

IMO ... once the 700's start getting modded out its going to be a very scary ,silly , fast machine ..
there is no telling what is hiding deep down in the 700's soul ...
The modded Z/KFX 400's are suprising everyone who owns one , my first ride I was very shocked
at the difference between an EX and KFX . With the very little mods I have done has put me to
a grinding hault do to I need to get a little more riding hours under my belt and do some suspension
before it kills me ....
The Z/KFX 's show a night and day diff if you open up there lungs and let them breath a little more

Hey ridley, if you are so competitive, why don't you learn how to spell the word? Wow, you have a college in Ohio, we've heard about those. Which class taught you to spend thousands to drop thirty pounds on a raptor? I just bought a 700. I have several friends with raptors. I have ridden both. The balance and build quality of the 700 is simply better. All things considered, it's a better machine. Do you have a hillbilly phobia or something?
