would you recomend using the mikuni jets 165/170 or getting the equal size of dyno jet? Do they even make them?

I like the mikunis, wshrdskin seems to do good with the DJs. Either way you should get a kit with different needles.

I already have the K&N jet kit so i have the new needles. I just want a bigger size main jet. I guess I will try the mikunis. I do have another question though. My friend has the same setup (pipe, header, jets) and when it he is running full out it runs great but if you just putt up a hill or in second gear it bogs down and wants to die. Bring the needle out more or what? something else wrong with it?

If you have the K&N/DJ jet kit use DJ mains 148/150. Your friend should check the float level on his.

If you use the dyno jet kit (K&N) don't use mikuni jets with it. GYTR has a jet kit out also, some just stay with stock needles and buy larger jets and are happy with that.

You can call dynojet directly and order any size jets you want. I ordered DJ jet sizes 155 through 175 five of each for about $50.00.

Yes you can. I'll even help you out by posting the website. You want DJ style. They'll be at your door in a couple days from the time you order. $2 each.

Thanks for all the usefull info. wshrdskin what size jets do you use? Does it matter what elevation you are at? I ride at about 4-5,000 feet.
