Default good dirt tires for my type of riding?

I mostly ride dunes with my banshee but latly i have been riding in different areas. My dirt tires just slip and slide all over the place and makes it hard for me to get good control before jumps. The type of terrian i am riding is kinda sandy dusty stuff. If you ever been in cali or the dezert you would probably know what i am talkin about. I owuld use paddles but there are hard areas of stuff that would tear up paddles, its hard to explain what it is but its like stuff u can make dirt clods outa(kinda how BMX jumps feel after a while w/o rain). Anyone have any suggestions on what type of rear tires i should get? thanks

I also ride desert, and I think the best tires I have tried are the ITP Holeshot XCT's in the rear, and XC's in the front. The XCT's are 6 ply and can take all kinds of abuse from the desert( rocks, sagebrush,etc.). I've run the Holeshots for nearly a year and the only flat I had was from nailing a huge rock and bending my rim. I banged the rim back in place and the tire sealed back up and is still haulin' azz!!!!!!

save yerself a lot of grief and order a package with rims, so theyre already mounted. believe me, it's worth the extra bucks to have them mounted and ready to go.
