well from what we saw that was the only bad race by air. i thought air was really fast. all day we keep commenting on his bike. that's why as soon as we got home i posted who had the yellow raptor. thats the bike i wanted to have. sorry if that offends anybody, just the way i say it.

 

yea i have to back up air too,he was running up that hill fast,and he did again and again,and i guarntee that there is more done to the sparks bike because if not they would be winning at every hill,not just at 4sw,,I have visited the sand over 25 time this year and last ,Glamis,Dumont,Mojave and not once ran into a fast sparks bike,if they made them all like that then everyone would have one, or I would have raced 1 or 2 at least...Not putting the sparks team down,i loved to see them run at the first 4sw and wish i new his secret..that's why it's called the racers edge...I guess there are a few sparks bikes out there but i put my rappy on the line to say that not the average joe's rappy is that fast from sparks..that thing excellerated like a 2 stroke no joke!!!!!

 

Had the hill not been so rough and the fuzz not showed up there would have been lots more racing.

Sparks won by a landslide, even harry and jon could not get the kings quad faster in the hour they worked on it, that bike was suppose to be dialed in and over 100 HP. lol Air was not even a factor, he was just the warm-up while the kings quad was being worked on[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Why worry about the frames?? Hell sparks will find a 10 pound monkey to run them. Curtis is a winner. I bet curtis was laughing all the way home. Trinity spent months and came up gimpy.

You guys all talk about the frame/battery and weight issuses, i want a intake manifold that was on the black bike.

Sparks did what was needed to win and he won. If it would have been someone else that had covered all of there bases and won; they would probably catch heat the way team sparks is catching it. I can't say I am a #1 sparks fan but He had a job to do and he did what it took to get it done. Now what we need to do is to learn from this and cover all the bases like team sparks did. Then maybe it will be someone else taking home the gold next year. Then we'll know if it was true hp that got it done. SLIM

I'm with Slim I love Sparks X-6 pipe but would not buy there 690 kit for there price and how long it takes them to do it but at FSWs they had EVERYBODY covered!

 

I DO KNOW THIS....sparks started the motor mods for the FSW2 one week prior to race day....so stop the whinning...Sparks won and that's it.....now for all the motor builders....Sparks set the bar height.....can you get above that..........hehe....dont ask me what was in the motor...because i know and i am not telling ya....so dont ask me................mums the word on that topic...
