Default 450 Kodiak water woes...help!!!

Hondabuster is absolutely correct. I ran my grizz into a mud hole and I thought I got out ok. I drained my drivetrain case and water/mud came out. My machine ran well...untill it hit 20-25 mph. I took off the ultramtic cover and the roller bearing were full of mud, so that the belt couldn't tighten and the transmission couldn't shift (hence the pathetic max speed). Well I cleaned the bearing assembly and regreased everything and now I'm above 65mph again. Just remember these machines can take a lot...but they're not indestructible. A little care and know-how is necessary.

Oh yea...and don't get suckered in for the Yamaha grease...its way overpriced and any good molybdenum grease will do. I prefer the synthetic because it's easier to wash off with soap and water when you have to clean parts.
