no it's not the james river, it's the chickohomony. a very small swampy section of it. it's about 30 feet wide. but i reckon I'll go ahead and take a long route or load it on a trailer.

I forgot how much the rr owns on each side of the tracks, I think it's 30 feet. Is the bridge near a curve? If it is that's crazy to cross on a quad or on anything, 'cause you won't see it until its to late. But if it is all straight line that is not as bad. At least you can see it coming. I work for the railroad(bridge dept. to) but I'm not sure of the fines. But railroad cops are just like other cops, some can be cool and some can be a$$holes(just doing there job though). Just be careful, crossing it at the wrong time could cost you your life.
