Hare scrambles?
I second that! I would like to know where and when this race is? I ride at Bull Gap near Mio all the time. I also race most of the GNCC races. If you are not familiar with them, they are kind of like a national harescramble series.
To answer your question, a harescramble is a tight woods course. Some of them have a part of a motocross track in them, but as mentioned earlier, it is mostly tight wooded trails. The courses are usually anywhere from 6 to 12 miles long, and you race for 1 or 2 hours, as many laps as you can get in that time. The nationals have a separate class for utility quads, and I am pretty sure that the local races do also. But all the quads race on the track at the same time. They keep score and sort out classes electronically.
Please let us know the info on this race!
