Like someone else said #s don't really matter but I hear what your saying. What matters is how it ran after it was dyno'ed. Could you feel an improvment? It should get a little stronger also, it's still pretty fresh.
I'm thinking of buying a dyno and have compared quite a few and the Dynojet dyno would not be my choice to buy or have my quad tuned on. JMO

Sandman: Ya I was watchin out for you at comp too and didnt see you all day. I was there off and on alot but there was never any action at all at comp that day. I mainly just raced the face that day and beat some pretty fast banshees and 250r's. I think I saw that 440ex, did it have white plastic like a 250r and blue flames and a chromed out engine? That was parked next to me and it looked fast...for a 400ex

sixsixT: It's deffinatly running stronger than before the dyno and I can tell it's gaining power from breaking in. Just before I went down this weekend I adjusted my valves again and noticed when I was looking for TDC that the engine has WAYY more compression then it did last valve adjustment!!

Interesting stuff.....

BigBubba - CRAYCRAFT 686 - 58HP
MichaelAZ - TRINITY 686 - 58HP (Kenz Cycle dyno)
BlueLeader - TRINITY 686 - 91 octane - is a tad faster than MichaelAZ's (I have never dynoed)
GregV - TRINITY 686 - 91 octane - 55HP - with poor jetting (Ohton dyno)
Rob Johnson - TRINITY 686 - 65HP (Trinity Dyno - stock bike dynoed 35 same day)
Ryan - 660 - 53HP (Ohton dyno)
Ben - CRAYCRAFT 660 - 56HP (Ohton Dyno) probably more HP now
Bob CRAYCRAFT'S 686 - 91 octane - 53HP (Ohton Dyno)
14mins - CRAYCRAFT 686 - 67HP (Ohton Dyno) probably more HP now

Ohton dyno runs at FSW's II

very interesting. I think I may go for a 4 Wheel Thunder kit for $950. Says it makes 54-56 horsepower. Very believable numbers for not much money. I am planning on getting this at the middle-end of summer. won't be the fastest by any means, but will beat all of the 4-strokes in my area and will hopefully hang with the boys at Little Sahara. Turnaround is only 4 days too.

Mines still gaining more HP too, I'm noticing more and more compression and everythings starting to loosten up. Can't wait till it's completly ready! I'm gonna try to lighten mine up a bit too...give me that little extra advantage.

Looks like 14mins engine is head and shoulders about the other Craycraft entries.....whats the difference.....everyones engines gets the same love?
BigBubba.....sorry about the bad news.....they probably hosed you....but it seems as if you have as much power as the majority of 686's.
