Ya, I dont know why Marks has so much more HP. I wanna race some 686's that can give me some compatition! Everything up here is slow and it makes it boring so I just trail ride most of the time. At least I'm makin as much power as all the others, possibly more Thats why I wanna race some known 686's but I don't really get a chance to cause there are none.

Guy I ride with has one you can run against! Come on over to Boxcar on Memorial Weekend...You will see him, he beats about everything. That is with the exception of highly modified banshees...of course

BigBubba, Marks 686 has some wear between the piston and the bore and is verywell broke in. Less friction more horsepower, and had the MBRP drag pipe, and jetted perfect for it, which some people claim it makes 4 to 5 horsepower across the dyno chart from start to finish.
There are many factors to take into consideration, who is to say in four months from now go back to the dyno and you my have gained an additional 4 hp!

Blueleader- interesting for sure, now here is a twist on it

The day before gregv dynoed at kens cycle and got 44hp i believe??? I may be wrong and then 52 on ohtins??

Dyno are a blessing and a curse, why is there no standards???????????? I have had the same quad on 4 different dynos and have gotten 4 different numbers.

Big bubba-?????????????????????????????????
1. what brand dyno was it??
2. Did they use slick tires??
3. what was the temputure and humid??
4. I do not buy that mukinu and dyno jets are the ticket.
5. What are some other dyno numbers from raptors run on that dyno that you HAVE ACTUALLY seen the print out??
6. What has beat you??

Gary- They are all ported the same from BenAZ to west virgina, the guy that tunes the best is the fastest. You just got to figure it out. MY QUAD makes MORE power running lean than on the money. After i got back from 4stroke wars we made some minor changes and picked up 4 hp in 48 runs, some runs we lost and some we gained. Some runs we made changes and you could not tell a difference. The drag pipe does make 4 to 5 more HP just bolting it on, but like i said i picked up 4 more after 48 runs after i got back from FSW's.

1. 1.5 hp from sixsit air plate adapter
2. 2hp from jetting/needels and ??
3. .75 peak from the cdi box
4. .25 from kibbles and bits.
