You might want to check out the Maxxis Zillas. (not mudzillas) They are light, great tread depth(1/14), and most are getting 5 to 6000 out of a set. I've been running them for 6 months here in NH on a cat 500 TRV. Great tire.

HOW DO YOU like the zillas ?
I have gptten many mixed reviews on them so i was/am skeptical of them.

They were actually #1 on my list due to weight and price but the reviews being so mixed on good and bad scared me away from them.

So far so good. I wanted a tire with more lateral traction. Got tired of not being able to pull out of a rut or hold a line off camber in the winter. On that score I got more than my money's worth, and am very happy. Soooo much better in the mud and soft terrain.

You will feel a little vibration at low speeds on hardpack or pavement, but it doesn't rattle your teeth. So far with the 10" of snow we have, it looks like there going to be good in snow tire as well. No spinning at all plowing, and they will climb the bank instead of digging in or spinning. Just what you need up here.

For a quasi mud tire they grip in the rocks better than I expected for the tread style.

Overall I'm very pleased with the tires. They are well worth the money. Bad reviews can also reflect rider error and acts of stupidity ;o) Your the best judge of what you need in a tire. These were not my first choice but price and weight sold me. (and the fact I mounted a pair for a friend and got a good look at them inside and out)

I had zillas their nice also had swamp lights necer again thin side walls mudlights are ok out of those 3id take the zillas but if you can take a look at itp mayhems I now have 28 mega mayhems love them over those 3 and where cheeper than the zillas thick side walls too a bonus just remember with light weight tire you get a softer snd more prone to puncture tire buddy of mine has 2000k on his mega mayhems and they barely show sings of wearing
