Default 2002 Polaris scrambler 400 issues

Hi guys, this is my first post. I've come here for a lot of good help in the past though. Last weekend my solenoid went. No click on ignition, I jumped out the solenoid, she starts right away. I know I need to replace this, no big deal. I'm just curious if it could have anything to do with my cooling fan issues. It doesn't run... Jumped wires directly off the battery and it ran fine so I figured it could be the thermostat under the rad. I jumped that out and nothing. I checked the 10A fusable link protecting the fan and there is continuity across it. But as far as I can tell I have no power going to my fan circuit whatsoever. I should mention that my lights still work and the other 20A fusable link under the seat is fine as well. Wtf is going on? Haha

Just test ohms resitance on sensor when cold then when heated with a heat gun or hair dryer. Resistance readings should drop.If sensor is shorted, just replace it.Wells Sw526 (autozone, napa) will work, just splice in your connector.Sensor just completes ground path and common for them to short out. Also slice the fan breaker pouch open.If it's corroded replace breaker at any auto store. If fan works by direct voltage, sensor or breaker or both can be the problem.

Thanks for the reply OTP. I did open up the pouch with the breaker, the breaker is fine and so is the sensor. I'm not getting any power to the breaker itself. Could it possibly be an open ground somewhere? I don't have a service manual for my baby, is there some kind of wiring diagram hidden somewhere in these forums?

Red breaker wire should have power,so there could be a wiring short or ground problem. Here's a cheap 5 buck manual with wiring schematics and trouble shooting guides. Can't find a specific Scrambler 400 manual for 2002 model, but here's a Sportsman 400,same thing.http://polaris-atv.brssm.com/2002-Po...ce-Manual.html OR a cd from ebay.http://www.ebay.com/itm/2002-Polaris-Scrambler-400-2X4-4X4-ATV-Service-Repair-Manual-CD-/261949315917?hash=item3cfd655b4d&vxp=mtr

Found a schematic from an old 97 400. Fan wiring didn't change much over the years on these. Same sensors(just located at the top),same circuit breakers.
