Those 4 bolts are Metric. Ace hardware has them, but I forget the size.

I forgot to ask in my last post; has anyone lost one of the four bolts that hold the axle on the swingarm on the 150. I have tried to match one up from the local Lowes and Home Depot with no luck. Anyone?
I replaced them with a few others. I got all of mine at Ace hardware.
Cool thanks mywifes. I have an ace about 10 minutes from me.

As far as resale value goes what can you really expect 60%-75%, not because it is a Yamoto because that is how much used stuff is worth. I bought a high quality boat for 25k, TWO YEARS LATER THE DEALER WANTS TO GIVE ME 15k. I kept it two more years and then sold it for 16K privately. Here is an interesting story. Before I started selling Yamotos, my brother-in-law bought a Yamaha Raptor 50 for my nephew because he said it would have a high resale value. The MSRP is 2199.00, it is a nice solid bike that tops out less than 20 mph. He got ripped off bad because it was Christmas time and paid over $3K with a helmet. Now he wants to replace the rev limiter because his son gets stuck on some hills. Well thats another $200. Now my nephew rides with my kids on their Yamotos and he can't keep up because he still doesn't have the new rev limiter. Don't get me wrong, Yamotos are entry level to intermediate machines. Keep your bolts tight and use the thread locker that they come with and you should be good. Let me know if I can help. Knarf

Default Yamoto 150cc Review

Hey Guys,
I've got two Yamoto's that I've gone out on over the winter. I'm selling them this summer to fund my other project; my truck. I'm not sure what the market would pay for a used Yamoto but they're in good condition:

-Upgraded shocks on one from A Suzuki Lt250 *required custom mount relocation with wider front wheel base
-K&N Filters on both Units.
-Upgraded halogen lights on one of them.
-Rear cargo rack added to one of them.
- Both Yamoto's have a crack in one of their fenders
- Both have been gone thorugh with a fine tooth comb in regard to tightening up all the necessary bolts, lock-tite, and replacing the rear axle assembly bolts with stronger ones. Also had the sprocket bolts replaced with higher grade steel so no sprocket assembly will ever shear the bolts....nothing vibrates loose anymore!
-one has had the footpeg assembly reinforced so you can actually stand on the pegs without risking bending or any sag.

What would you all pay for a pair of Yamoto's as listed above? This will help give me an idea of what to list them for...

I have never even considered selling my wifes yamoto. Not sure exactly what they would be worth. Im guessing some where in the $600.00-$900.00 range or so.

With all the mods you may get $1000 for each of them, I also have no idea of resale value. If i were to try and sell my sons quad, which we bought in October 04, I would try to get a $1000 (Paid $1500). Put then out there for $1000 a piece/ best offer and see what ya get.

I am looking to buy a commando 150. Is this the same as a Yamoto and is it hard to get parts for it now?

I took my wifes yamoto to pismo for a few days and the wife still wouldnt go into the dunes. I did get her to ride around on the soft sand a bit and with 1psi in each tire the 150 did OK. Still not a sand machine, but at least kind of capable. I thought ot would sink like a rock, and it did with 5psi in each tire.
