Have you checked the hand brake cut off swtich? Also the stock spark plug has been known to cause problems.

I did replace the plug and tried a different switch. Still didn't help. I was thinking maybe the stator????

Have you checked all of the electrical connections? mine had a bunch of connections that were just fitting inside each other. I had to spend some time with a pair of pliers and re crimp most of the connections on my wifes yamoto when we first got it. Other than that I would look for a bad ground.

I'll have to go thru it again and doulbe check everything. I thought it was the coil wire because it would start to die and when I lifted the coil wire it started running again. Very odd. Thanks for your help.

I know the Yamoto 150 does not have a reverse gear, but is this a big downside?
Or is it small/light enough to back it up with your feet like a motorcycle?

I am the reverse for my wife on the trail. She says I do ok, but could respond a little quicker.

The quad is fairly light, but could be a hand full for smaller kids. Your legs need to be fairly long to back it up while sitting on it. I can do it, but Im 6'4" tall.

And welcome to the forum Davide.

Thanks also to Mywifesquad. Mine was the Sparkplug. The NGK just fired up. I bought an extra for the toolkit. And I missed the first day of Arizona riding yesterday!! And I only had to spend $2.00 out of the $1200 I saved on a big namebike!!!
