My son is getting real close to completing his Jetmoto 200 Enduro off road conversion. I hope to have some pics in a week or so.

While I was at Jetmoto last Friday I sat down with Eugene and looked at a few of the new models. We mainly concentrated on quads, but I did see a pic of a 250cc on/off road motorcycle that "looked" very capable both on and off the road. Pictures can be decieving but I cant wait to get my hands on one of them. It looked that good and I saw a few pics of it too. The plan right now is to enter both the 200 Enduro we have modified and a bone stock 250 in a family enduro this fall. Eugene is hoping to go along to check out the off road motorcycle scene. I always did want factory backing at a motorcycle race.

be careful the 200 enduro I purchased I noticed the seal was a 1/4 bigger around than the spacer that went inside of it. it was a good thing that was the first mod I did on the bike when it was new. it had a sprocket from a 1980 185s if this helps this bike is a 04 and still running good I think I went with a 49

just done a full check of my drive system on my GY200 from pro bike uk and ive found the most cheap and tackie rear sproket and rear wheel drive system the only thing holding the rear sproket on the wheel is a circlip and the only thing driving the rear wheel are 4 small pins of which i found one was broken there is no rubber for stress and the pins just sit in holes held in by the circlip what a shambles i seriously think that the bike is inadiquert now and know why the price is so cheap. there really is no bargin to be had,you are paying for an engine which was developed by honda but made with cheat metals STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE GY200 CHINESE BIK£ES save for a bit longer and get a real bike from japan ive done only 2000 miles on my GY200 and have had lots of problems not just the brittle plastics cracking but clutch and drive probs too please heed this advice if you havent yet bought a GY or any chinese import. Sorry to all that already have a chinky bike but by now you proberbly have found out.

Please Help! I have had my Gy200 for a couple of weeks. Wondering what a safe rpm is to ride at when traveling on the road for 10 miles or so. Don't want to stress out the motor or seals. The book says break in rpm should not exceed 6500. Is it safe to rev higher rpms.

Hey Smudge I agree with you, I bought my GY 200 Used for $1000 it was in excellent shape when i got it but now it looks BAD there is plastic broke, the seat is ripped, the kickstand will never stay up cause the spring is not the right size or something, the only thing good I can say about my bike is it runs good. I havent had any trouble with that part but everything else has went all to hell. I know what you mean about the sproket and how the 4 pins just sit down in the wheel, I broke all four of them trying to ride wheelies, I had to replace them with grade 8 bolts.I would be lucky to get $300 for it now and I know i have been a little rough on it but it is just a really cheaply made bike. I have only had this bike for 6 months and if anyone out there is thinking about buying one DONT! Save your money and get a Japan bike you will be alot happier in the long run.

So you are complaining about putting 300 into a thousand dollar bike? Is that correct?
