I have a CZ 180 and the carburator is junk. I saw on the 28/30 MM carbs they use a 100-108 size jet. I am wondering if these were replaced with a Jet, all the junkers from the motorcycle shop, if they would run better?

Hey Guys, I am having similar problems. I got this Yamoto 150 on Oct 27, 04 for my 8 yr old son. we have only had it out a few times at a total of about 3 hours or so. If it is cold (like 40 or below) this thing wont start, Period. If it is a little warmer it will start only after several attempts. Once started it has a problem sitting idling. Dies out if given gas etc... or stalls out on its own. we have not had any real "spring" weather here yet so I dont know if this is a "cold weather" issue or what.

When we do finally get it warmed up, it seems to run well. It has plenty of power to keep him busy for a few years so long as it lasts that long. I have had some problems getting things replaced by raceway, but John has assured me he will get it taken care of. All in all it seems to be a nice starter quad for the youngsters at a great price. I just wish this thing would start up right away for a brand new quad. theres my 2 cents...

I have the same problem with 150r Kazuma, I got from Raceway in OCT 04, John has been lots of help with other carbs and float and electric choke unit. But nothing has worked as of yet. The Quad only has a few hours on it cause you can't run it. I wonder if the 6 month warrenty should be extended. It is my feeling that the problem is the source of power that goes to the choke. Using a multimeter this quad has no power on the two leads coming from the electric choke. I need a manual choke carb. for this quad so my dauther can ride it. And I'm sure John @ Raceway will be getting me one very shortly. Don't you think so John? Cheers JBR

100% the warranty will be extended for you. You have been one of the most patience people I have ever dealt with. I am hopping to see that carb for you any day now!!!

John,

any word on those parts that i have been waiting for, for 4 months. I have emailed you and havent gotten any reply! You did say that you would replace the parts that were shipped to me already broken (back in Oct 04) yet still no word today (feb 05). Am I being fed a line of BS, or are you actually going to be good on your word? Spring time is coming and I still won't be able to let my son ride it with out a working brakelight (or the nerf bar). Can you atleast reply and tell me whether or not you are going to make this happen or what?????????????? I havent heard from you in weeks as usual.

Mr Cotti:
I have called yamoto 100 times for you. They keep telling me in has went out. I am a man of my word and if I tell you I will take care of something I will. If I do not have the part in stock I must wait for them to send it. But I will say you are right and I will get on them again tomorrow. I will not let you down I will do whatever I have to do to get you the parts you are waiting for. I handle a lot of people each and every day. 99% are very happy with are service and I know there will be problem some times (There is nothing I can do about that). I am sorry about the delay and again I will get on it for you. And one more thing I do not B.S anyone. I go over the line for many people to do whatever I can do for them. I have helped many many people that have not even bought there units from us. I do not mind you posting anything but I do not like when someone states that I am BS'ing when that is not the truth. If I was that kind of person or ran that kind of company why would I start a forum were people could talk about my company?? Think About it! And if you have a problem we have a toll free number please call it. I do not get to check the forums everyday and it is a lot faster to just call me if you have a problem. We also do not want any unhappy customers. If you are not happy with our company you can always call me and we can work something out for you to send the bike back!
All The Best.

John,

I didn't say that you were BS'ing me, I asked. Put yourself in my shoes, I have been calling for months without recieving the parts. Please understand that my concern is just to get the quad in the condition that it should have been shipped to me in. I am not suggesting that the service is bad at your company. I am saying that four months is more than patient to wait, don't you agree? And I have called the 800 number several times and spoken to you several times. Each time we speak you say you will call them and check it out. You very well may be calling. But try to see it from my side, 4 months and I have not gotten anything. It is not my intention to smudge the good reputation of your company, I bought from you because of the reputation and what i have read about it. If you are calling as much as you tell me, I can see how it would be frustrating on your end as well. Maybe the company you are dealing with is not as concerned about helping people the way that you are. But, that is a direct reflection on you, be it good or bad. I appreciate that you are trying to get this done. That is all i really want, to get it taken care of. I apologize if I come accross as rude or frustrated, but this has built up over a long period of time. Hopefully, this will get resolved soon and I think that we both will be happy when it does.

jcotti, just for the record, I would say you have been more than patient. IMO. Got to wonder if the take over by patriot was such a good thing.

Hello
I have imported those bikes to Norway, Europe. On the Gas tank cap there should be a small air hole drilled just inside the rubber type, so you can blow thru it. if it dont have that it will be vacum and the bike stops after a short time, drill it carefully in the plastic. maybe that helps on your bikes also.
By the way is there any in US that have tried the new 200 ATV from yamoto.
Best Regards
