Thanks kczukiman, the jet comes with 15 front and 40 rear. Mine is now 14 Front and 40 rear. Wonder what mine would be like if it matched yours?</end quote></div>

Seriously thow I think you would like that combo of sprockets,To me its the best of both worlds as you can see from the vid I know its asphalt but it has very good low end and very good top end.

Ok. Here's the latest tale oh woe and whining... anytime a mechanical engineer has to get out a schematic and a volt meter you know there's a problem.

where to start?? I'll go in order of severity: 1) can not figure out how to wire the bike! There are No Instructions or diagrams. The paperwork I got seams to be for an st110 ( what ever that is). Which at first was no big deal, the assembly process was straight forward and i had no problems bolting the thing together. I even thought that I was going to be able to fire it up last night. Ha! Ha! Ha!
I was to the point of hooking up the headlight piece and the shift indicator when things got a little confusing. There is is one extra 6 wire plug up front ( female) with no corresponding male plug, There also a loose red wire with green stripe up front ( dont have a clue where that goes). Theres an extra 2 wire plug under the seat with no dicernable mate and there were several loose wires up front that I Ive plugged up by hooking like color together... But again I'm working by the seat of my pants.... all the time very afraid that I'm going to let the smoke out of something important!

Oh, remember the fan I mentioned, there seems to no switch for it!! there is not one on the handle bars anywhere so unless there a thermocouple on this puppy somewhere I dont know how shes going to go.

So... Recapping... VBike - 1, Chungking- 0

At this point I have headlights ( high and low beam), Tail Light, Brake Light. I have no starter Motor and no way to turn on that dinky fan.

I'm going to call Tim today to see if there are any more instructions for wiring.

Kman - you are the only person posting that has a vbike, what kind of documentation did yours come with?

One last thing, I going through this last night I checked the fuse capsule back by the battery, if fell apart in my hands, I put it back together but its not going to give good service, I'm dropping by radio shack on my way home today and picking up a good fuse holder and some good wire connectors! Chungking

It was too late last night to mess with pics but I have a bunch coming!

Kman, does your brake liight come on when you apply the hand brake? I'm thinking is should and currently my brake lite only comes on with the foot brake. This could be a clue..... Chungking

It sounds like you may need to follow the wires from the handle bars down to where they hook up in front/under the tank and find the missing plug. The Jetmoto's do come with a wiring diagram but no instructions on which plug goes where. If it's like the jet which it should you should have brake lights with the hand lever and the foot peddle! Is your High and low on the same side as your Start push button? Should have been the same wire connector I believe! Oh ya It must be in Neutral and or the Clutch must be pulled in to in gauge the starter! If it'[s the same as most Chinese quads they come with a switch on the left handle bar that is where the Japanese use a Turn signal switch but on these it's a Kill switch, This must be in the center position! Not sure but you may have to push it in in the center position like you are canceling the turn signal but not sure about that at all cus Jet does not use the cancel type switch!

My advice may or may not help, it's coming from a Jet owner and they probably are not the same.

(typing too fast, should have spell chexed )

Well just got signed on today and its great to find some others with the Vbike250 V4. A couple buddies here in North Georgia bought three of them for Christmas. Tim at Vbike has been great, the bikes went out quick and got here quick and he keep in touch the entire time. I had a ton of questions. Let me start by saying I am impressed with the bike for the price but certainly see why it cost so much less than major name brands. I have had many of the same questions and wondered if anyone else had forums on this model? Yes the instructions were for a different bike and basically were useless. All three of our bikes came with the fan but none of them had the rear end grease fitting which I to was very disappointed about. We all were missing a couple bolts here and there but nothing we couldn't get from the Auto parts store. One of the Fuel caps was cross threaded so bad that we could barely get it off and now the threads are all chewed up. One of the Gear LED indicators is always on the blink. Regarding the front brake light, two of our bikes the little connector right at the back of the brake handle need to be crimped on better and one of our bikes was missing the wire that runs up the handle bars to the brake handle so check those chucking. These were all pretty Minor things considering what we paid. The bikes all fired right up and run very well. Is it common on most China bikes not to have a airbox under the seat that the airfilter goes in? I have never seen a set up like this as. Making me very concerned about stream crossing or big mud puddles. Does the Jet moto have an airbox, Should I be concerned about this at all?

chuck my front brake lite does work when I press it.I am a little confused on how much wireing you have to do .All I had to do is plug my stuff in.You do have single wires that plug into the adapter but they are color coated.
I don't have a fan but I did on my hibird and the switch for it was on the left side bottom red.It looked like a starter butten.Sorry to hear your having issues If I can help just ask I will keep checking in later

Racehayes,
The filters a fine on these its like the k & n setup easy to get to and easy to clean.

Chungking,

I have been traveling all week on business, actually just got back in tonight. I got the VBIKE, shipped in in great condition, really like it in person. No grease zirk on the back, all is well, except same wiring issues exactly. One 4 way on the left side (facing forward) wiretied to frame with no where to go, one 6 way in nose with no match and one green/red (in line plug) with no match. Haven't looked or messed with it any further due to time constraints, figured it can't be hard to figure it out once I stare at it for awhile. Other than that, I really like what I see so far. Fit, finish, welds, plastic etc. all look great. I am missing one nut for the rear lower shock mount, but I figured the bike has made quite a journey and probably just simply rattled lose intransit. I will count up some other nuts and bolts that I want to replace with some nyloc and chrome stuff and make a trip to the auto parts store. Have you had any luck figuring out the electrical "variations" is so, I will take any help you can give. Totally impressed with the size, stance, and suspension so far. The fan caught me off guard too. I didn't look for a switch or anything yet and I see no signs of a thermo to turn it on and off.
