One thing I do recommend if you buy one of these is to check and drain all the fluids. The front diferential didn't have a drop of fluid in it and the rear was half full.

Put about 3 hours on the atv this afternoon and didn't have one problem. I got to try the 4wd out in some mud and climbed a few steep hills in the woods out here in CT. I mainly cruised the trails varying the speed and staying out of full throttle til the motor is broken in completely. I am going to ride this weekend again and change the oil again after about 8-10 hours. I will probably put some synthetic in it

I've heard very little complaints issues over those Jianshe 400 4x4's on ATV forums.
Thats a good price. Up here they wanted $5,000 or just under for them which I felt was too hight compared to what you could by a new Yamaha for. $2,600 sounds a lot better. Keep us updated on how it stands up.

It looked too good to be true for $2600 shipped. I would of done the same as you for $5k. You can just buy a Yamaha. I took the Jianshe out again yesterday. We started off in the morning and rode some long trails, sand pits, mild/medium terrains nothing too rough. The atv held together fine. Around noon time we packed the atv's up and headed about 20 minutes away from where we were to an area where there was mud holes. The atv goes through some pretty deep stuff. 4WD works excellent and can be shifted on the fly. I just make sure to let off the gas before doing it because I don't think they recommend it. So far I have 67 miles on the atv quad so far and no issues. I did break the right rear plastic mud gaurd that connects from the body to the foot peg area yesterday. I had to put my foot down while going through a rocky area because of the angle the atv was on. I'm going visit my yamaha dealer today and see if the part is the same otherwise I will call tank and get one ordered up. I'll keep everyone updated though as I put more miles on the atv but so far I have had nothing but good experiences.

I have another update for everyone and yet another good one. Tank Sports has been keeping intouch with me over the past week since I recieved the quad and reported the few issues I had with it. They requested pictures of everything wrong and today I recieved an email from them. They sent out a new handlebar control assembly, rear amber flasher lights, fuel shut off ****, and a brand new spare cylinder head. On top of all that they offered me a $50 refund for having to deal with this. Not much but it's something on top of all of those parts. I am extremely happy with the customer service I recieved and the way they took care of everything quickly for me.

Congratulations on your purchase. With all the prejudices out there against the Chinese made bikes, it's good to hear of someone not having any trouble and satisfied with their bike!!

New Update:

Yesterday morning I had plans to go riding with a few guys so I loaded the atv up on the trailer. As I was securing the straps on the rear I heard a pop sound. I looked underneath the atv rear swing arm and there was about a 1/4 quart of gear oil on the trailer. Upon further inspection I noticed that the larger front shaft boot on the rear swing arm had a huge crack in it and the gear oil was dripping out of that hole. I am pretty sure the rear differential pinion seal is no good. Probably was leaking from day 1 and I just didn't know it until the boot swelled up enough to split the rubber. I am also starting to notice the transmission starting to feel like it is slipping at higher rpms. Seems like I am letting off the throttle quite often to allow the rpms to catch up with the speed of the atv. The atv only has 74 miles on it. So aggrivated right now and wrote an email to Tank Sports to see what they will do for me. I can do the rear seal...but do I really want to? I bought a new atv so I wouldn't have to deal with this stuff and as for the transmission. Who knows what could be wrong? I've never worked on an atv tranny before. Still haven't recieved the parts I was promised either but I will update when/if I do. Still no credit to my paypal account either...
