Chinese 110 ATV
The ATV will not idle or run unless the choke is closed. When the choke is open it will not start or run. When idling or running, if the choke is opened the ATV will die. The carb has already been disassembled, cleaned, and adjusted. Fresh gas has been put in the tank, and the sparkplug has been cleaned. Are there any known issues with this problem? Thanks.

I've got a couple of questions first. How old is the quad and how much run time do you have on it? Does your carb look like either of these?

 

When a carb that has functioned in the past wont run with out the choke on...it has some thing dirty in the carb...more than likely its a plugged pilot jet...When you cleaned the carb did you remove both of the jets and make sure you could see light thru the holes? Are you using the stock chinese spark plug?
