Default New here TAOTAO 150CC Questions??

Hello, I just purchased a 08' TAOTAO 150cc (ATA 150G) Quad The all black one, And have been trying to do searches for my answers but it seems there are so many types of this quad so I dont want to get the wrong stuff for it
The guy I purchased it from owned it but never used it as he won it in a raffle said he just had his mechanics start it up once and awhile.

Just curious what I should do to it to keep it nice, anything to keep my eyes open for.....
Change Oil- what kind? 15W40??
Spark plug- brand part#?
Batterys old so tried to local atv stores and walmart none had the 12V9AH (12N9C), Is there a cross reference # that would help me find one?
I have noticed several bolts are loose so I will have to do the loc tite route.
Your help is appreciated !!!

I have owned 3 previous Quads 04' Eton 90, 03' Honda 400 EX, 07' Honda 250 TRX and they were perfect.

Thanks, Tina

Welcome to the forum horsepower03!

10wt-40 or 15wt-40 will do...i use Valvoline 10wt-40 in all of mine.

NGK C7HSA

Battery? Id get one that fits and call it a day..

This one will take more of your time than the first 3 quads you owned..

Tina, I've never owned one, but that 150cc GY6 engine seems like a great setup. They're fan cooled (better longevity) and have a CVT trans instead of the single speed centrifugal clutch drive. It's a better way to deliver power to the wheels IMO.

Default thanks

Thanks for the info!!! Good to know as Im kind of scared of the quality of it, I'm not planning on jumping or going mental with this one just putting around the yard ....so I dont want any drama, I have noticed alot of loose bolts already.
