mywifesquad got it right but he has an unfair advantage!!!
Jet, Honda, Ducar. Going from say the Jet 150 to the Ducar is a HUGE differance!
I still say they're (jet 150) a sweet quad for kids, even with their quirks.
On the Ducar we flipped the front wheels so the rim offset is the other way. It makes them stick out a couple inches farther and seems to help some. Ducar even has the original battery. As I've have mentioned on here time after time the damn Ducar I spent far more time tinkering on it the first year then I have the last 3. Now that I got the bugs out the kids don't ride it as much. Out of the three lads only one is quad crazy like his dad lol!! The other two don't mind coming out but the one is on them every day he can be and bugs his dad to go on quading trips!!

Yeah, my second son isn't into riding either. I'm glad I got him a cheap quad to try out. If I had bought a $2000 Honda or Kawasaki or something like that I would have been ripped at him. $600 and a few hours drive time didn't upset me as much. He decided he didn't like riding as it is "bumpy". I would have given half my teeth to have something to ride as a kid. My buddy got hand me downs from his uncle. Picture two young teens on a Vespa motor scooter going trail riding. We had a few accidents over the couple years we kept it running.

I did that on my Yamoto before making wheel spacers. It increases the leverage on the shocks which gets a softer ride..
