Taotao 150d not starting
So it started up fine. I let it warm up for a litte while. Then rode it maybe 100 ft and it started bogging down and then shut off. I thought i was out of gas so i poured a full tank in. It still didnt start. I took off the carb and cleaned it. And still nothing. Its getting good spark and fuel in some of the lines. But i dont
think its getting fuel to the spark plug. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Could be a clogged carburetor, but another thing to check is whether you are getting fuel to carburetor at all. Unhook the fuel inlet line to the carb and direct into a bowl. Let it flow for a bit. Is the stream steady or does it slow to a drip, drip, drip?
Both I and my neighbor have had our quads exhibit the same symtoms you describe due to defective fuel shutoff (petcock) valves. Mine was defective from the get go. I'd start up the quad and go about 1/8 mile before it bogged and shut down. My neighbors failed after two years. On his, the gasket between the rotating cylinder and the shutoff valve body rotated and almost completely blocked the fuel supply. Same thing. Let it sit and it starts up. Drive a bit and it bogs and shuts down.

I squirted a little fuel in the spark plug cylinder today and it fired up then shut back off. I kept doing this until it finally fired and ran for about a minute then shut back off. Then tried it again and it immidialty shut back off again. I now think the floats are sticking. Any more suggestions? Thanks
