I posted up here awhile back about a worn exhaust pushrod in my son's 250 Sport. Somehow.... he won't tell me how, the INTAKE pushrod has fallen down inside the engine. Grrrr....

Questions I have are, since I cannot get to the pushrod from the top, the head is going to have to come off. Anyone here have any experience inside a Jetmoto 250 motor? Will I be able to get the pushrod out with the head off?

The other question I have is, where can I get a head gasket? I called Jetmoto about a pushrod, and was told "we don't stock alot of internal engine parts". Huh???? The used pushrod I was sent was for a 200, and is too short. I see no point tearing the engine down if I cannot even get parts to fix it which would suck since the engine runs great other than the ticking I had from the worn pushrod.

Help...someone.... anyone! ;-)

 

Never had one of those engine apart but did pull the valve cover off of one...Id try reaching the push rod with a magnet and trying to get it out that way..

You may call TaoTao and see if any of their engine parts fit.. Stupid that Jetmoto doesnt have the parts you need... whats the point of them even selling quads if they cant support the sale?

 

I would pull the motor off and turn it upside down and shake it before I ripped into it! And most of the other Chinese atv's that are 250's run the same motor with small differences, I would bet the Vbike push rod would work!
