Default 110cc Jcl carb float not working

Hello all
Thanx for the quick fix to my gas tank problem
My next problem is that the gas is draining from the carb when installed. I have cleaned/sprayed all the jets. I believe the problem is wiht the float . it operates properly and everything looks brand new. I have adjusted/checked the float several times and its still leaking. With an extreme ajustment to close float it almost stopped leak which tells me float is working, but not seating? I did not see a seat for the pin. Does the rubber tipped pin just seat into carb housing or is there an oring that may have fell out. Any help would be appriciated!

The needle seats into a brass fitting.. if both are clean and the float is adjusted correctly...(most floats appear level when upside down)..and it still leaks, the needle/seat could be worn out.
