Falcon ATV w/electrical issues (plus more)

I just bought a nice looking non running Falcon 110c ATV for $150. I put air in the tires, replaced the spark plug, tightened the chain, bought a battery and viola, i have a REALLY nice running ATV for less than $200.
However, I have a few gremlins that are driving me a little crazy. The previous owner replaced the keyswitch and for some reason, none of the electronics work. I even have to crank it by arcing the voltage regulator. The lights don't work, the horn doesn't work.... none of that,. The one thing that does work is the kill button. I can turn off the key and it still runs. I can hit the kill button and it does turn it off. Any ideas?
Also, i noticed today that the four bolts that mount the motor to the frame are GONE.
anyone know what size bolts i need to use to correct that?

arcing the regulator? you must be talking about the solenoid. you'll see it also on that hyperlink. i guess you traced the wires for the key switch to see if he was creative on the wiring? as far as horn and lights, have you traced the wiring out to check the connections under the handlebars to make sure they're tight or have been modified and not making a good connection?
on this website, scroll down and look on the left menu bar and you'll see kazuma and a bunch of other brands parts selection/categories. click and happy shopping, as far as bolts, you may just call the website or see what fits and go from there from your local auto parts store......

The key switch looks original. It plugs into the factory harness (6 prongs). As far as the wiring, it looks completely original. I don't see any backyard wiring issues.
While reading the forums, i read that someone had an issue cranking his ATV because the handbrake safety switch was messed up. Do you have to hold the handbrake down to crank?
Also, how do you check the oil? there's not a stick right? how do you know when you need to add? how many quarts does it take?

Thank you for much for your help. I"ll try that today and report back.
Where would i find a manual for the Falcon 110c? I bet i could learn so much more if i could find out how it worked instead of me guessing. It took me 2 days to figure out how to shift the gears!

Not being able to turn off the quad with the ignition switch is normal behavior for a quad that orignally had a remote control module, and that remote module has since been removed. Does you quad have a remote module? Do you see a loose connector where a remote module may have once been plugged in?

Sorry i'm just responding. I was riding all weekend!
I got ONE bolt in motor mounts and needed some assistance with the others so i just have that one in it for now. I'll try to finish putting those in this week.
I changed the oil and it looks MUCH better in the sight glass now. It looked tar black before.
I also discovered that i have a pretty bad misfire or skip at WOT. If i back out a little, it runs ok. Any ideas what that may be?
And as for the electrical issues, i have deducted that the whole harness is bad. I may purchase another one.... or i may keep running like it is. So far, i only have $200 invested in it and it's running pretty good.
