Default ive spent more time fixing instead of riding :(!!!!

ive got this 110cc chinese peice of SH****
and i just cant get it started. ive looked for every possiable Q&A on google. and still no help at all.

a few things ive eliminated.
- carb, retuned and cleaned 3 times.
- spark tested it again a bolt on the head and good spark on NGK - C7ARSK im pretty sure.
- when u hit the starter, it firers but dosnt stay started
- also sprayed quick start in the spark plug hole and air filter hole. still same problem sparks the little gas and doesnt idle? maybe low compression?

problems im having.
- when i hit the starter and hit the throttle just a little bit. it slams to a stop and shoots a mist of gas threw the air filter hole.
- and i cant seem to tune the carb with the adjustment screws. theres two screw, one smaller then the other and i think ones for air and ones for gas. turn it all the way in and back out 2 full turns ive heard?
- and the battery drains to like 5 or 4 volts when i hit the starter? and its charged to 14 volts

ive been at it for 2 weeks staight every second i get and im just looking for a second opinon. if anybody have any suggestions id be very thankful

Did you acquire this quad in a non-running condition, or is this a quad you've had for a long time and suddenly it stopped running?

I don't know much about 110cc quad mechanicals. I've never owned one. But I'm wondering if the valve timing chain is off by a tooth?

sounds like a timing issue (valve or ignition)

like LE said- did someone have their hands in this motor before you got it?

Bought my son a new chinese 110. damn thing was so temperamental & unstable... I ditched it within a month- sold it for 1/2 of what I paid.

Can you video it starting so we can hear what it's doing? I'm almost thinking it's a choke problem or that the voltage stops to the spark plug when you let off the started button. But a video would be helpful!

I actually can't post a video or give any updates till I get a new starter. Burned the one out I have from trying to turn over so much

And no I bought it brand-new. And it ran like a champ until I washed it

moneyfresh,
was the quad running when you washed it? If so the air filter can act as a vaccum and suck water up inside the carb. Have you tried holding the choke lever (on the carb) with your hand and tried to start it. If not hold it with your hand up towards the seat and see if that works, it may be something as simple as your choke cable.
Best of luck friend!
