Default no spark 90CC Monsoon

i am working on this atv has no spark did start briefly then nothing. I have checked some things just dont no wat values should be I have 12 volts to reg and around 2 volts coming out of it dont no if this should be more??? or should i be lookin other places

Check out this link for a Monsoon diagram. You may have to follow other links in the link to get to the diagram. It is in there somewhere.

First look to see if that wiring diagram matches your quad. If it does then get a voltmeter ready and I can walk you through it. The regulator has nothing to do with spark. Having 2 volts output from the regulator may well be a problem, but it is separate from your "no spark" problem.

The ignition system (at least according the the wiring diagram in the link) runs off a moderately high voltage AC supply coming from the stator. There is no 12 volt anything in the ignition system. Get spark first and get the quad running, then tackle the battery charging system. In the mean time keep your battery charged up with a motorcycle battery charger (2 amps maximum charge current).
