i cleaned my carb but while i was cleaning the inside jets a small silver piece fell out. i was never able to find where it went until after the fact i lost the tiny piece. well the quad now starts but it wont idle it cuts off if you dont give it gas is it because im missing this piece? heres a picture of the piece im missing...

and also how can i inflate my tire on my quad the tires on the rim but when i use a bike pump it stops a certain point and wont fill up anymore.. do i need to use a compressor?

 

That is the seat the needle goes into.. it stops flow of gas when the bowl is full.. It would cause the problem your having..

Weird a bicycle pump wouldnt inflate the tire.. maybe a better pump.. or a air compressor would work..

 

so you actually took the seats for the jets out also. man you were serious.

That's the part that guides the metering rod and would go in before the main jet.
