So far it sounds just like the problem I'm having. It's the chain sprocket and chain from the starter down to/behind the fly wheel. My starter, chain, and start button work but the flywheel doesn't seem to be engaging. I can turn the flywheel by hand and can hear compression but the dagumit flywheel won't catch on and turn with the starter and chain. Also.... Seems as if my starter relay seems like its clicking(works, I think)but clicks more than it did. Had a starter fail, rebuilt starter(magnet came loose inside)and now this problem.
