Glad to be of help. I've had lots of help from this board so it feels good to sorta pay it forward.

I found that stuff several years ago and have been using it on all aluminum I need to repair since I have nothing to weld it with and am too cheap to pay someone to do anything I can do for myself.

You can weld a lot of cracked aluminum with those rods and like you say just a little practice and you become an ace at it.
