White milky fluid on footboard

Default White milky fluid on footboard

I finally got my quad working and ride able, cheers to me haha. But i noticed today theres a white milky fluid leaking from under the cvt transmission cover. if anyone knows what this could be from please give your advice/ideas thank you as always your a great help. i have a 150cc gy6 motor

Id pull the cover off and take a look.. only way to get oil in there would be if the engine crank seal was blown or the gear oil in the rear section of it was leaking.. Then you would need some water to make it a milky color.. How much fluid are we talking about?

ya ill take the cover off today to check it out. I'm thinking when i cleaned my quad i used the hose and the tranny cover wasnt bolted on so there was no gasket, do you think this could cause water to mix with the oil to cause the white oil?

If I had to guess.. Id say some oil residue mixed with some water caused the milky fluid.. The cases are vented so they drain out the bottom..

I used to have a similiar looking "substance" all over my renegae 800x seat
